Shooting Starz Productions began with a childhood dream. Steph Caron, wrote and directed her first original play at age 12. She gathered neighborhood children, including her siblings, to be the actors. Each production would benefit a different charity.

In the years following, Steph continued to write original productions. Her mother helped her write her first business letters at age 13 to begin looking for a performance venue. In 2006, Shooting Starz Productions was founded and the group began donating admission from performances to Feed My Starving Children. The non-profit theatre group has performed at a variety of venues including Steph's childhood backyard (2004-2005), Brookdale Shopping Center (2006-2010), Champlin Ice Forum (2011-2012), Servant of Christ Lutheran Church (2013-present), Lincoln Elementary School (2016-2018).
